Den 20. april 1943 blev
LAN ED620 ramt af flak på vejen til Stettin. Flyet forsøgte en nødlanding, men en vinge ramte jorden, så det nærmest blev en nedstyrtning.
De 4 dræbte flyvere, der alle ifølge dødsattesten havde kraniebrud, blev ført til Lemvig. De blev begravet af pastor J. Bendsen den 24. april 1943. (Kilde: FAF)

Sergeant (Air Gunner) G. Barclay og Sergeant (Air Gunner) J. Heyworth kom på Luftwaffe felthospital i Århus.
Senere blev de interneret i lejrene  9C / L6 / 357. (Kilde: Lost Bombers)
Sergeant G. Boulton kom på sygehuset i Ringkøbing. Senere blev han interneret i Stalag Luft 6, selv om han var såret, men han blev sendt tilbage til England i
maj 1944 sammen med andre krigsfanger, der var fysisk uegnede til tjeneste. (Kilde: Lost Bombers)

4 flyvere fra LAN ED620 blev begravet i Lemvig. 3 blev taget til fange, kom på sygehuse og så til Tyske krigsfangelejre.

On 20 April 1943 LAN ED620 was hit by flak on its way to Stettin. It attempted a forced landing, but a wing hit the ground, so it was rather a crash.
The 4 killed airmen, who all according to their death certificates died from a fracture of the skull, were taken to Lemvig. They were buried by Vicar J. Bendsen on

Sergeant (Air Gunner) G. Barclay and Sergeant (Air Gunner) J. Heyworth were taken to the Luftwaffe Field Hospital in Aarhus.
Later they were interned in Camps 9C / L6 / 357
Sergeant G. Boulton was taken to a hospital in Ringkøbing. Later he was interned in Camp L6, although he was injured, but he was repatriated in May 1944 along
