Den 20. april 1943 blev
LAN ED620 ramt af flak på vejen til Stettin. Flyet forsøgte en nødlanding, men en
vinge ramte jorden, så det nærmest blev en nedstyrtning. De 4 dræbte flyvere, der alle ifølge dødsattesten havde kraniebrud, blev ført til Lemvig.
De blev begravet af pastor J. Bendsen den 24. april 1943. (Kilde: FAF)

On 20 April 1943 LAN ED620 was hit by flak on its way to Stettin. It attempted a forced landing, but a wing
hit the ground, so it was rather a crash.
The 4 killed airmen, who all according to their death certificates died from a fracture of the skull, were taken
to Lemvig. They were buried by Vicar J. Bendsen on 24 April 1943. (Source: FAF)
