Den 20. april 1943 blev
LAN ED620 ramt af flak på vejen til Stettin. Flyet
forsøgte en nødlanding, men
en vinge ramte jorden, så det nærmest blev en
nedstyrtning.
De 4 dræbte flyvere, der alle ifølge dødsattesten havde
kraniebrud, blev ført til Lemvig. De blev
begravet
af pastor J. Bendsen den 24.

On 20 April 1943 LAN ED620 was hit by flak on its way to
Stettin. It attempted a forced landing, but a wing hit the ground, so it was
rather a crash.
The 4 killed airmen, who all according to their
death certificates died from a fracture of the skull, were taken to Lemvig. They
were buried by Vicar J. Bendsen on 24 April 1943. (Source: FAF)
