Efter en tur til Pælen ved nedstyrtningsstedet
hvor Poul Vester og andre fortalte hvad der var sket
på det sted, samledes de omkring 80 deltagere
fra egnen ved Mindestenen til en højtidelighed.

Knud Gaarn-Larsen sang for til En lærke letted
og Det haver så nyligen regnet.

Pastor Andreas Hansen fra Frederiks Kirke
holdt denne tale. Gregers Laigaard fra Grønhøj Kro
indbød til fælles kaffebord med underholdning.
Anders Straarup holdt et foredrag i Rejsby Kirke.

was commemorated on 4 May 2014 on the initiative of
Poul Vester, HVK KONGENSHUS.

After a visit to the Marker pole at the crash site
where Poul Vester and others told what had happened
about 80 people from the area gathered at the
Memorial Stone for a ceremony. See

7 torches for the airmen of LAN R5679, a standard,
a bunch of flowers and a guard of honour from the Home Guard made up a beautiful sight in the fading sunlight.

Knud Gaarn-Larsen led the singing of A Lark Ascended and another Danish song. Vicar Andreas Hansen of Frederiks delivered this speech on the occasion.
Gregers Laigaard of Grønhøj Kro invited to a common coffee table. Anders Straarup delivered a speech in Rejsby. Impossible to be in two places at the same time.
