The plane failed to return!
It disappeared without
trace.

Sergeant Roland Felix Lyster, 20, was the son of John and Ellen Lyster, of Dublin,
Republic of Ireland.
Like all other crew members he was a volunteer.
He
is remembered on
The Walls of Names at the
International Bomber Command Centre, Phase 2, Panel 202.
He is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial, Panel 157, among more than 20,000
