4 motorer kørende og forsynet med
brændstof.

Især når noget gik galt, måtte han bruge
sin omfattende erfaring.

Han hjalp piloten mest muligt, og hvis
piloten af en eller anden grund ikke kunne
flyve mere, blev det en opgave for ham som Flight Engineer at fortsætte.

Particularly when something went wrong
he had to use his extensive experience.

He assisted the Pilot as much as possible
and if the Pilot for some reason was unable
to fly on, the Flight Engineer had the duty
to take over and carry on.
