Sergeant (Tail Gunner) Donald J. Jeffs var eneste overlevende fra STI W7531. Han blev på mirakuløs vis
kastet ud af flyet, inden det ramte jorden. Han landede i toppene af graner, som tog af fra faldet.
Han slap med en brækket arm og et brandsår i hovedbunden.

Han blev ført til Tyske krigsfangelejre - Stalag 344 Lamsdorf.

Sergeant (Tail Gunner) Donald J. Jeffs was the sole survivor from the crash. Miraculously, he was
thrown out of the STI W7531 before it hit the ground. He landed in tops of spruces that cushioned his fall.
He only had a broken arm and a burn on his scalp.
