September 1943 at 02.30 hours
LAN JA713 crashed into the Kattegat south of Tunø
(about
here) on
the return flight from a bombing raid on
Berlin. All of the crew perished.
"Pilot F/O Anthony
Crockford drifted ashore at Sletterhage (which is
here) on
24 September.
He was taken to Aarhus and 3 days later he was buried next to Robinson."
