Anchor Today a memorial stone in honour of a group of fallen pilots from World War II was unveiled in Grønhøj near Karup.
Standards -
missing man formation		 In September 1942 a British bomber was shot down over Grønhøj by the Germans and all 7 airmen aboard perished.

Robert Hylands		 Today more than 70 years later a memorial stone in honour of the crew was erected here at Grønhøj Kro.
David Geddes at the stone The ceremony today was a very special experience to David Geddes from Scotland. It was his uncle who was the pilot of the plane.
