On 4 September 1943 at 02.30 hours LAN JA713 crashed into the Kattegat south of Tunø (about here) on the return flight from a bombing raid on Berlin.
All of the crew perished.

Sergeant Henry Allen Eaton, 21, was the son of Henry and Winifred Eaton, and the husband of Betty Winifred Eaton, of South Yardley, Birmingham, United Kingdom.
He is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial, Panel 148, among more than 20,000 airmen who have no known grave. (Source: CWGC)
