Natten mellem 2. og 3. December 1944 var
Stirling MK IV LK143 NF-B på operation SOE Tablejam 169/177. Flyet forlod basen
Tempsford om aftenen med kurs mod to nedkastningspladser i Danmark med
kodenavnene Meta og Marius. Fly og besætning sporløst gået tabt - men en del af
flyet blev fundet mange år senere.

During the night between 2 and 3 December, 1944 Stirling MK IV LK143 NF-B was on
operation SOE Tablejam 169/177. It left Tempsford Air Base in the evening
setting course for two Drop Zones in Denmark, code named Meta and Marius.
Aircraft and crew lost without trace - but a part of the plane was found
many years later.
