af Sydney Herbert og 69 omkomne flyvere fra dette og 14 andre fly mindes på
Mindetavlen i Rebild. HAL LL192 was shot down over the Skagerrak about here 60 km north of Thisted after having dropped its load to the Danish resistance movement about here east of Nibe. Sergeant (Wireless Operator / Air Gunner) Bernard Stynes, 20, was the son
of Sydney Herbert and 69 perished airmen from this and 14 other planes
are commemorated on the Memorial Plaque in Rebild.
They lost their lives in supply operations to the Danish resistance. For the
