 Den 24. september 1942 styrtede HAL W1274 ned i Ellesø Mose nordøst for Kruså.

Alle 7 besætningsmedlemmer omkom.
Flyverne blev begravet den 26. september 1942 i Aabenraa.

HAL W1274 crashed into Ellesø Moor northeast of Kruså on 24 September, 1942.

All 7 members of the crew perished.
The airmen were buried on 26 September, 1942 in Aabenraa.
