Formand Lillian Carstensen bød velkommen til alle på vegne af
de lokalhistoriske sognegrupper i Lerup – Tranum, der sammen med
Naturstyrelsen sørgede for at stenene blev rejst.

Chairwoman Lillian Carstensen welcomed the attendants on behalf
of the people behind the initiative that saw to that the memorial stones
were erected in cooperation with the Danish Nature Agency.        

Skovrider Jesper A. Blom-Hansen fortalte om Naturstyrelsens interesse for at
mindes historien om de 6 flyvere som en del af historien om Tranum Klitplantage.
Projektet blev udført i samarbejde med mange parter i området.

Forester Jesper A. Blom-Hansen told the attendants about the interest of the
Danish Nature Agency in remembering the story of the 6 airmen as a part of the
story of Tranum Klitplantage.
