From the Aalborg Stiftstidende on Wednesday 23 May 1945:

English plane to Aalborg by road

Today the ZONEN in Aalborg is carrying out a transport beyond normal.
They have been entrusted with the task of transporting a force landed
English plane from Hornum Mark near Søttrup to Aalborg.

On the day of the capitulation the one-seated Mustang fighter carried out
a so-called "belly landing" in which the undercarriage was destroyed.
The injured pilot was taken to the hospital in Løgstør.

The ZONEN succeeded in placing the 3,700 kg plane on a flatbed truck,
and then they headed for Aalborg.

At noon the transport had reached Nibe and the plane is expected to be
in Aalborg at about 6 p.m.
