"14.-15.

10 BS, 4 BG, Melbourne, Yorkshire.

Sjælland blev flyet skudt i brand af en tysk natjager, og det lykkedes 5 besætnings- medlemmer at springe ud med faldskærm før flyet eksploderede i luften, og de sidste to flyvere

"To dræbte flyvere, A. J. Berry og J. Grayshan, blev ført til Holbæk Kirkegård. Tyskerne forlangte
en grav gravet, men gav ikke kirkegårdsmyndighederne besked om begravelsen, der fandt sted
den 16. februar 1943 ved 21-tiden om aftenen - alene under tysk medvirken." (FAF)

"
14.-15. February 1945 (20:41). Asmindrup, 7 km S of Holbæk. Halifax B.111 MZ793 (ZA-X). 10 BS, 4 BG, Melbourne, Yorkshire. (Minelaying at Stettin - Szczecin)
The plane burst into flames over Zealand due to fire from a German night fighter. 5 crew members managed to bail out before the plane exploded in the air, killing the
remaining 2 airmen.

"The 2 killed airmen A. J. Berry and J. Grayshan were taken to Holbæk Cemetery. The Germans demanded that a grave should be dug, but they did not notify the
churchwarden and the sexton of the burial on 16 February 1943 at 21.00 in the evening. Only Germans were present." (FAF)
