Officer (Navigator) William G. Boorer klarede at komme i flyets gummibåd og de
drev rundt i 4 dage.
De blev fundet den 7. maj 1945 af den danske fiskekutter E 428 "Ella" af Esbjerg
omkring
her

BFI NE955 was hit by flak during a minelaying operation
in the Kiel Bay, so it had to ditch in the North Sea 60 miles west of Jutland.

Officer (Navigator) William G. Boorer managed to get into the dinghy, and they
drifted around for 4 days.
They were found on 7 May 1945 by the Danish cutter E 428 "Ella" of Esbjerg

The war was over, when they were rescued by the Danish fishing cutter.
