tysk flak. Det vides ikke med sikkerhed, om det var fra
flakstillinger ved Århus
Havn eller ved Åkrogen. Flyet fortsatte mod nord, hvor det ramte trætoppe ved
huset til venstre
for Koldbogaard og styrtede ned mellem huset og Koldbogaard,
se
Google Map p426r.
Mindestenen er i markskellet til venstre. Mogens Pouli, 82 år
i 2008, ses i midten
af billedet på
nedstyrtningsstedet. Det er foran bøgen og de to ege,
som hans far plantede ved det mindesmærke med nedstyrtningsdatoen, som han
rejste på eget initiativ lige efter krigen. Der har gennem årene været jævnlige
kontakter mellem nogle af flyvernes familier og familien på Koldbogaard.
Mogens Pouli døde 28 FEB 2021.

caught fire after being hit by German flak. It is uncertain if the flak came
from flak positions at Aarhus Harbour
or from a position at Åkrogen. The plane flew on to the north,
where it hit treetops
at the house to the left of Koldbogaard and crashed between the house and Koldbogård, see Google Map p426r.
The memorial stone is in the field boundary to the left. Mogens Pouli, 82
years old
in 2008,
is seen in the middle of the photo at the crash site. It is in front of the
beech and the two oaks, which his father planted at
the memorial stone with the crash date erected on his own initiative just after
the war. Over the years there
have regular contacts between families of some of the
airmen and the family on Koldbogaard. Mogens Pouli died on 28 FEB 2021.
