On a flight to
Poland the plane was tracked by German radar over North Funen. A German
night fighter intercepted it over Zealand and shortly after the plane with
weapons was shot down in flames. Next day pieces of wreckage were found at a
depth of 6-7 m about 300 m off the coast near Harvig.
