Det var blev ramt af flak ved Esbjerg, mens det var på vej til at bombe Kiel.

Sgt A.W.Abbott blev interneret i L9C Bad Sulza / L6 Heydekrug / L4 Gross Tychow.

On 29 April 1942 WEL Z8521 force landed near Emmelev Church (which is here) north of Højer.
It had been hit by flak at Esbjerg, while it was on the outward flight of a bombing raid on Kiel.
