"I forbindelse med RAF´s første bombeangreb på Königsberg (nu Kaliningrad) i Østpreussen nedstyrtede Lancaster ME650 den 27. august 1944 ved Clasonsborg i
Skarrild sogn. Hele besætningen blev dræbt". (FAF).

Sergeant (Air Gunner) Alan Ambrose Michael Langridge, 19, was the son of Arthur H. J. and Alice I. P. Langridge, of Tonbridge, Kent, United Kingdom,
and the husband of Peggy Langridge. His brother Arthur Valentine also fell. (Source: CWGC)
