Flyet blev ramt af flak og styrtede i havet knap 700 m fra kysten (omkring her, overblik her).

S. D. Dean og L. G. Murphy blev fundet ved Hansted og begravet den 11. april 1942 i Frederikshavn.
A. K. Hamilton, indbragt til Frederikshavn fra Thisted, blev begravet den 27. juli 1942.

off Hanstholm. The aircraft was hit by Anti-Aircraft fire and crashed in the sea about 700 yards from

S. D. Dean and L. G. Murphy were found at Hansted and buried in Frederikshavn on 11 April 1942.
A. K. Hamilton, taken to Frederikshavn from Thisted, was buried on 27 July 1942.
