Den 11. juli 1942 styrtede
MOS DK299 ned ved Rejsby Å, måske omkring
her.
"Ved aftenstid den 11. juli 1942 blev
Flensborg
(FAF)

On 11 July 1942
MOS DK299 crashed at Rejsby Å (Stream), maybe about
here.
"In the evening of 11 July 1942
Flensburg was
attacked by Mosquitoes.
6 planes were to attack, but it seems that instead some of them attacked Tønder
and bombed a train between Døstrup and Skærbæk. Altogether 6 Danes were killed
and 16 injured in these events.
One of the planes targeting Flensburg, »Mosquito«
DK 299, crashed at Rejsby Å (Stream) - or made a hard forced landing. The 2 crew
members on board perished. The airmen were buried on 16 July 1942." (FAF)
