On 11 July 1942 MOS DK299 crashed at Rejsby Å (Stream), maybe about here.
"In the evening of 11 July 1942 Flensburg was attacked by Mosquitoes.
6 planes were to attack, but it seems that instead some of them attacked Tønder and bombed a train between Døstrup and Skærbæk. Altogether 6 Danes were killed and 16 injured in these events.

One of the planes targeting Flensburg, »Mosquito« DK 299, crashed at Rejsby Å (Stream) - or made a hard forced landing. The 2 crew members on board perished.
The airmen were buried on 16 July 1942." (FAF)  p087MACR
