Livingstone, 29, was the son of John and Elizabeth Livingstone, of Garfield,
Victoria, Australia. On 24 April 1945 HAL JP299 was shot down over the Kattegat about here app. 30 km north of Hirtshals. We do not know all details, but a look at British and German information gives an idea of what happened. Airmen were of course always after a sortie asked questions about what they had experienced!
