I 1940 begyndte tyskerne at bygge en flyveplads i centrum af Jylland ved Karup. Landingsbanerne er stadig her, overblik her.

In 1940 the Germans began construction work on an airfield at the centre of Jutland near Karup. The runways are still here, overview here.
