Et af de Danske minder ved St. Clement Danes. I ærbødighed og taknemmelighed for hjælp og støtte 1940-1945 Royal Air Force Frihedskampens Veteraner Afsløret den 31. oktober 1997. Mindetalen blev holdt af Ole Lippmann på fornemt engelsk. Han mindedes hvordan England 1940-41 stod alene som den sidste bastion mod Nazi-Tyskland og gennem SOE støttede den voksende modstand i det besatte Europa, så modstandsbevægelserne kunne sabotere fæstnings- anlæg og virksomheder, sprænge jernbaner og meget andet og derved bidrage til krigsindsatsen. Da modstandsbevægelsen var hårdt trængt af Gestapo, gennemførte RAF flyangreb på de tyske hovedkvarterer. IN HONOUR AND GRATITUDE FOR ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT 1940-1945 ROYAL AIR FORCE VETERANS OF THE DANISH RESISTANCE MOVEMENT Unveiled on 31 October 1997. The Address was delivered by Ole Lippmann in brilliant English. He recalled how England 1940-41 stood alone as the last bastion against Nazi Germany and through the SOE supported the growing resistance in the occupied Europe enabling the resistance movements to sabotage fortifications and factories, blow up railway lines and many other objects and in that way contribute to the war effort.
