Denne P-38 "Lightning" jager blev skudt ned ved Nibe. Piloten, 2nd. Lt. Kenning, omkom." (FAF)

2nd. Lt. Robert J. Kenning, pilot på P38 42-67084, blev begravet i Frederikshavn den 14. januar 1944.

A memorial stone is erected here between Brøndum and Næsborg near the crash site.
