Den 24. august 1943 styrtede LAN EE180 i Østersøen, måske omkring
her. Flyet var på bombetogt mod Berlin. Hele besætningen omkom.

Den 23. september 1943 drev N. Pendlebury ind på kysten ved Ristinge, omkring her. Han blev begravet i Magleby den 26. september 1943.
W. R. Acland og T. Collins har ingen kendt grav. D. J. Bigham, J. H. Brown, S. J. McEllenborough og J. A. Webb blev begravet i Kiel. (Kilde: FAF)

On  24 August 1943 LAN EE180 crashed into the Baltic Sea, maybe about here. It was on a bombing raid on Berlin. All of the crew perished.

On 23 September 1943 N. Pendlebury was washed ashore at Ristinge, about here. He was buried in Magleby on 26 September 1943.
