Siden hørte ingen fra flyet. Hele besætningen omkom.

R. E. Belton blev fundet på havet ved Hansted (omkring her) og
H. Perry fandt man på havet ved Klitmøller
(omkring her).
De blev begge begravet den 29. september 1943.
