HAL JB918 fra RAF Pocklington på et bombetogt mod 
Duisburg. 
Flyet styrtede i Nordsøen nær øen Texel.

"Duisburg. 561 fly, 17 tabt (3,0%). PFF angav at have markeret målet præcist, 
men de fleste af bomberne  faldt i den nordøstlige del af byen. Mere end 300 
bygninger ødelagt og 130+ omkomne."

HAL JB918 took off from RAF Pocklington on a bombing raid 
targeting Duisburg. 
It crashed in the North Sea near Texel Island.

"Duisburg. 561 aircraft, 17 losses (3,0%). PFF claimed accurate marking but most 
of the bombs fell in the  north east of the city. More than 300 buildings 
destroyed and 130+ fatalities."
