Den 27. juni 1940 styrtede HAM P1329 i Nordsøen et sted ud for Holland på tilbagevejen fra et bombetogt mod basen Langenhagen nær Hannover.
HAM P1329 forlod RAF Waddington kl. 22.15 den 26. juni. Kl. 03.26 sendte dette Hampden fly meddelelse om at det returnerede på en motor.
