(Kilde: FT 91-6-37)
Se Lancaster fotos. 7 flyvere.

Lancaster B.I ED327 (BH-R) from 300 (Polish) Squadron was on a bombing raid to Stettin, when the plane was heavily damaged over
Jutland by a German night fighter.

Pilot F/O Harry Lupton tried to make it to Sweden, but the plane ditched northeast of Anholt about here shortly before 01:00 on 30 August 1944.
6 airmen from ED327 have no known grave. Maybe the Unknown Airman is from this plane.

The body of Sgt Baron was found off Falkenberg on 8 September 1944. He was buried on 12 September 1944 in Falkenberg Forest Cemetery, Sweden.
