on a patrol, Beat No. 9. It crashed in the North Sea. No survivors. A. D. W. Curr was washed ashore and buried in
Esbjerg on 5 September 1941. Sergeant (Observer) William Thomas Ellis,
30, was the son of Richard and A. L. Ellis, of Nantwich, Cheshire, United
Kingdom.
