Den 25. april 1940 styrtede BLE N6214 i Nordsøen. Hele besætningen omkom.

Den 23. august 1940 blev liget af W. T. Howells fundet drevet ind omkring her
ca. 1 km syd for Thorsminde ved Nissum Fjord.
Han blev begravet den 25. august 1940 i Sønder Nissum af sognepræst K. L. Aastrup. (Kilde: FAF)

On 25 April 1940 BLE N6214 crashed into the North Sea. All of the crew perished.
p006MACR mentions the target as Granvin Fjord at Hardangerfjord in Norway.

On 23 August 1940 the body of W. T. Howells was found washed ashore about here
about 1 km south of  Thorsminde at Nissum Fjord.
