Den 3. august 1941 blev BFO W6477 skudt ned ved Agger (omkring her) under en patruljeflyvning over Skagerrak.
Hele besætningen omkom. De 4 flyvere blev begravet i Frederikshavn den 7. august 1941.

This Bristol Beaufort was from RAF Coastal Command. See  RAF - 42 Squadron and No. 42 Squadron.

It took off from RAF Leuchars at 05.35 hrs on 03 AUG 1941 with 4 x 250 lb. bombs on a Rover Patrol
to the Norwegian Coast.
Hit by flak and crashed at Agger, Denmark. No survivors. (Source: MACR)
