Besætningen på LAN ME726 omkom den 16. maj 1944 ved flystyrtet i Gamtofte. En del slægtninge til flyverne besøgte Assens Kirkegård i 2004.
F/O Mark L. Abramson´s nevø John Holzman og hans søn Mark kom til Danmark i 2005. På foto til højre ses John Holzman og Elisabeth Olsen.
Igen var hun den vigtige kontakt i Danmark. I 2009 gav hun www.airmen.dk adgang til billeder, udklip og dokumenter. Film og en lang samtale gav endnu mere.

F/O Mark L. Abramson from LAN ME726 perished on 16 May 1944 in the air crash in Gamtofte. A number of relatives of the airmen visited Assens in 2004.
