Den 20. april 1943 blev
LAN ED620 ramt af flak på vejen til Stettin. Flyet forsøgte en nødlanding, men en vinge ramte jorden, så det nærmest blev
en nedstyrtning. (Kilde: FAF)

Sergeant (Air Gunner) G. Barclay og Sergeant (Air Gunner) J. Heyworth kom på Luftwaffe felthospital i Århus.
Senere blev de interneret i lejrene  9C / L6 / 357. (Kilde: Lost Bombers)

4 flyvere fra LAN ED620 blev begravet i Lemvig. 3 blev taget til fange, kom på sygehuse og så til Tyske krigsfangelejre.

On 20 April 1943 LAN ED620 was hit by flak on its way to Stettin. It attempted a forced landing, but a wing hit the ground, so it was rather

4 airmen from LAN ED620 were buried in Lemvig. 3 were captured, taken to hospitals and then to German POW-Camps.
