Den 31. august 2014 var der gudstjeneste
i Estruplund Kirke til minde om flyverne.
6 af dem er begravet på
Estruplund Kirkegård.

Folk på egnen har altid været optaget af begivenhederne.

I mindegudstjenesten talte pastor Tom Ahlmann
om flyverne, der gav deres liv så vi kunne
leve frit, og udtrykte vor taknemlighed.
Derpå gik vi alle til graven, hvor han lagde en
smuk buket efter Altid frejdig og Fadervor.

The crew of Lancaster PB143 perished just 70 years ago on Operation 30 AUGUST 1944. On 31 August 2014 there was a memorial service commemorating the airmen. 6 of them were buried in Estruplund Churchyard. Residents of the area have always been occupied with the events.Estruplund Kirkegård

In the memorial service Vicar Tom Ahlmann talked about the airmen who gave their lives so that we can live in freedom. He mentioned our gratitude.
Then we all walked to the grave where he laid a beautiful bunch of flowers after Always dauntless (click programme A+B, page B) and The Lord's Prayer.
