Mindemuren er rejst af danske og afsløret 5. maj 1948 - og 2 dage senere blev amerikanerne hjemført! Gravstedet er her lige nord for kirkens tårn.

Magleby, Langeland, 6 airmen (7 American airmen taken home, still commemorated with wooden crosses with nameplates. Abraham Silverman, however,
has a star of David. The bottom line on all metal nameplates "Hjemført til USA" means "Taken home to the USA".) See the map USAAF.

The memorial wall is erected by Danes, unveiled 5 May, 1948 - and 2 days later the Americans were taken home! This plot is here just north of the tower of the church.
