afsløringen fandt sted 11.8.1945.
Commonwealth War Graves Commission ville yderligere have rejst headstones på det store gravstykke, men det blev forpurret af den daværende kirkegårdsinspektør og
3 forældrepar til de afdøde, som besøgte Kalundborg."

"This gravestone was erected by Consul C. Valentin.
It was unveiled on 11 August 1945.
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission
furthermore wanted to erect headstones in the big plot,
but it was thwarted by the then inspector of cemeteries
and 3 married couples, parents of the deceased, who visited Kalundborg." (KM)
